Look at this colour. Don’t you just love it? I’m a die hard purple fan but there are some shades of pink that make me go a bit doo-lally and this is one of them.
On the box and the bottom of the bottle it is called Number 15. I think, from having looked at the website that this colour is called Fluro Flamingo. This deep fuchsia shade has been amped up to almost neon. The effect on the nails is energising. Great on both short and long nails and really effective for nail art too. The silver lid and logo provides a sharp modern contrast to this strong colour and was the inspiration for my weekend manicure.
All Pixi’s nail varnishes are DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde free Two coats go on smoothly and it dries to a slight matt finish. This is a great nail range – the colours are long wearing, the formulation is not to thick or thin and brush is a medium width so it applies a good amount of colour. This particular shade requires a topcoat (Cool Wisteria doesn’t) and Seche Vite is my top coat of choice, which amps up the shine, intensifies the colour and increases the wear. Love it!
