Generally I wear more silver toned than gold toned metals, but in general I am a fan on metallic. This is the only gold in my pretty extensive nail varnish collection.
This is not a twenty two carat gold colour, it is much more champagne gold then yellow gold. The benefit of this colour for people like me who are more drawn to white metals is that it layers beautifully.
It goes on the nails quite sheer but it has a lot of shimmer in it so it is a great alternative to a nude as it provides a lot of interest to the nail. Build up the colour and you get more opacity and more of the gold tone comes through. It is also great for layering over opaque nail colours. I love bold colour on the nail, but sometimes it is nice to wear a pretty colour and this is a great one.
