Sixty Seconds with …Clarins Hydra Quench

Clarins Hydraquench

This moisturiser from Clarins is pretty no nonsense. Formulated for normal to dry skin but with my combination skin, I did not find it too heavy.  It is not the fastest absorbing cream but when it does it leaves the skin feeling very hydrated and a matt finish.   I did not find that it left me super greasy for a rich cream.  When used over serums it does not roll, although needs a couple of minutes to absorb before applying make up.

It has an interesting range of ingredients from hyaluronic acid  (always good in a moisturiser),  Katafray from Madagascar which for hydration, alpine willow herb which is an anti inflammatory and  pomegranate, another antioxidant and skin mattifier, and soriber tree fruit for micro stimulation.  It does not have an overly perfumed scent which is refreshing, overall it was good but not great.
