Montano and Lupita Nyong’o. When the universe put them together for the Baftas, it was a match made in heaven. Add a little Lancôme to the mix and you have some lustworthy pictures. Lupita looked amazing and her make up complimented the look, not detracting from her amazing skin, beautiful smile or gorgeous dress in any way. That is why I had to post a Lancôme lip today in homage to Lupita, Kay and the BAFTAS. This pick came out a little while ago and is Lancôme’s version of a matte liquid lipstick.
The doe foot applicator is bent and has pointed ends which mean that you can do definition work on the lip line and pack loads of colour into the lip.
This is a replenishing and plumping range which I don’t really need and I was worried about the bee sting effect that lots of plumping lipsticks have. There is a tiny tingle, but it is not in the league of Bare Minerals Buxoms, which I cannot tolerate at all. Interestingly, I always find that it tingles at the inner part of the lip and not all over the lip. This does not dry down to a dry matt texture ike the Hourglass liquid lipsticks, so it stays feeling moisturising on the lips which means that it does not have the longevity of the Hourglass ones, but the finish is velvety as Lancôme state.
I am a big fan of lip creams and this is a great one, worthy homage to Lupita and Kay I think!
