Ted Baker is one of many high street fashion brands that has moved into the cosmetics market. Skincare is a great way to buy into a brand and a model that many luxury brands have followed. It continues the aspiration and aesthetic and at the highstreet level this means that the focus is on look, texture and fragrance.
The ‘It Had to Be You’ box set contains fifty millilitres of Body Wash, Body Foam, Body Souffle and Body Spray. A great way to layer the sweet floral and raspberry fragrance that each item has. If you are a fan of L’Occitane’s Cherry Blossom type fragrances, this is one for you.
The Body Wash and Body Foam share the same loose gel texture but when added to water the foam provides a fountain of bubbles.
The Body Spray starts of very sweet but settles quite quickly to a softer floral fragrance and the Body Souffle is a light cream. Not rich enough for my very dry skin but with shea butter and glycerine, it is more moisturising then I expected.
This would make a great gift and excellent for travelling with.
