This is a clever product from No7. For the record – it is not a replacement for using an appropriate face and body SPF before you leave the house Sunscreen with appropriate levels of UVA and UVB protection is a must….but I do like having SPF 30 and shimmer in one product. The golden-yellow packaging is the same as the No7 lippies and is not the easiest product to open but do persevere with it.
Designed for lips and eyes but you can use it wherever you want some additional glow on the face.
It can be used on bare lips or over lip colour. If you use it on the eyes with nothing underneath you will find that it will provide a subtle shimmer but it will crease after about an hour – that said, it does work as a base for eyeshadow. My favourite way to wear this product is as a face highlight on the inner corner of the eye, under brow and across the top of the cheek. It is pretty but not OTT and catches the sun beautifully. It needs to be reapplied regularly but an interesting summer addition to my make up bag.
