OPI is a professional nail brand, but because it is available in lots of places so I think about it as a retail brand. In actual fact, Nicole is the retail arm of OPI.
There are some subtle differences:-
- The Nicole brush is shorter and a bit stiffer
- OPI has a wider range of colours
- The bottle shape is very different
- OPI polishes last longer on the nail
However, if there is a colour in the Nicole range that you love, it is worth dipping into the range. No surprise that I plumped for a purple. The grape debate is my preferred cream finish. It is less blue toned then Siberian Nights by OPI but very pretty and very wearable. If you are a purple-holic like me you probably have a very similar shade, but you can never have too many purple varnishes!
