House of Dernier Cri brings independent fashion designers together via their website where you can interact with the designers and access custom pieces. The designer edit is eclectic from casual to formal and slightly avant garde but it is all accessible. They also have regular fashion shows called Walkoffs. The concept is a simple one. Twelve designers are whittled down to one and the people who attend the fashion show get to vote for the winner. I had the pleasure of attending their SS15 Walkoff over the weekend. It was my first London Fashion Week event and I LOVED it. I had a chance to hang out backstage with Kevin Fortune and Afrodite who provided the hair styling and extensions and Fashion Fair who did the make up. Trumans Brewery was abuzz for the whole day and of course I took a few pictures.
Make Up: Fashion Fair UK were the make up sponsors – they provided a Dolce and Gabanna inspired liner and berry lip stain look on a very diverse range of models.
Hair styling was done by the Kevin Fortune Academy team with hair extensions provided by Afrodite. The Ponytails with a twist were very sleek.
