#preview: SBC- Vitamin ACE Body Creme

SBC Vitamin ACE Body Creme

Simply Beautiful Collection or SBC is a salon skincare range that is sold on QVCUK and from their website. I have been watching QVC for over a decade so I know them at the gel brand –  from collagen to arnica, this brand focusses on efficacy rather then advertising and pretty packaging. It is a range that is utilises water based gels to treat and moisturiser the skin.  The Body Butters from this range are a relatively new addition and I have been fortunate to have had the Vitamin ACE Body Creme, which will be launched on QVCUK next month and on SBC’s website next year.

The texture in the tub is quite firm  – closer to a butter then a cream.  It requires a bit of work to rub it in to the skin, because of the tight texture.   It has a pleasant sweet floral fragrance and it quite cooling on the skin.  The Vitamin ACE range is the anti ageing range from SBC.  They contain oxysomes  – the pink flecks that you can see in the cream which are small round capsules of vitamin C which brightens the skin and vitamin E which  moisturisers.  This technology is found across the range which includes a day and night cream  and a shower gel. I have spent quite alot of time attempting to  separate out the oxyxomes from the cream but I as unsuccessful.  All I managed to do was dissolve the oxysomes under the pressure of my finger.

This is a water based body cream that contains lots of skin loving ingredients including  shea butter based glycerine, sunflower oil, olive oil macademia seed oil and aloe vera.  It does not leave a sheen on the skin and it not at all greasy so you can put your clothes on straight away. I have extremely dry skin  so water based creams are rarely moisturising enough for me and sadly this is to be the case with this cream.  I have been using it regularly as a hand cream, the cooling effect is great for hard working hands and because it is not greasy you can type or swipe on your technology without leaving sticky marks on the screen / keyboard which is always a bonus.
