Illamasqua Daemon Eyeshadow

For me, a red eye shadow is a real necessity for my make up kit.  A true red, that is pigmented and functions not only as a standalone lid colour (yes really), that also works as a transition colour, and that can be blended with other shades to create new and beautiful shades.  Illamasqua Daemon is that true red. It is quite a neutral red (not too blue, not too red) and very very versatile.

When you really play with this colour you begin to see the possibilities and wonder how you ever survived without it.  Wear it as a blush – yes really, if you can wear Exhibit A, you can wear Daemon as a pop of colour on the cheeks.  Very brown girl friendly.

The colour is super pigmented, you need a very light hand with this product – a little goes a very long way.  More importantly it blends like very few other eyeshadows.  It has quite a dry texture but  even if you have accidentally applied a little too much you can blend it away with a clean fluffy brush.  I would not advise using a white bristle brush with this shadow however as it will stain your brush.

My favourite way to wear this colour however is over red lip colour.  The addition of daemon over the lips makes the texture velvety and it looks beautiful as well has increasing the longevity of the colour.  Gorgeous.   If you ever create a make up look and it does not quite look right, try a touch a Daemon.  The results will surprise you!
