Harrods is one of my favourite places to shop for beauty. Lots of luxury brands a couple of exclusive ranges and samples a plenty – the beauty hall is a great place for a beauty junkie like me. The Harrods Sale is a thing of legend, but the truth is that I prefer not to go to the store at this time as it gets too busy. After reading through my beauty wish list and spending an evening with my laptop having a look at the items in the sale, my basket had twelve items in it. T W E L V E. It took me a while, but I managed to whittle it down to three – and all three items were in the top thirty items on my wishlist. I placed my order late on a Saturday night and a couple of days later the items were in my possession beautifully packaged as always. This is my Harrods Sale Beauty Haul.
Aerin Mini Lipstick in Dahlia
This little beauty had been on my list for a good while. This is a limited edition lippie and I thought that I had missed the boat, having asked in a couple of stockists for over six months and never having any luck. As soon as I saw it I had to have it, and it was a third off (hurrah)
Chantacaille Future Skin Oil Gel Foundation in Carob
My Lancome Teint Vissionaire has finished so I am was in the market for a new one. I have had samples of Future Skin previously and I was surprised at how much I liked it… but this is a sixty pound foundation, so getting it half price (yep fifty percent off) was too good to pass up.
Dolce and Gabbana Eyeshadow Quad in Bouquet
I have a Dolce and Gabbana quad in Cocoa and I love it. I was torn between Bouquet and Cocoa at the time that I bought it but decided to go with the more neutral palette as it was my first foray into the brand. I love colour however and the blue and green in this palette are as exciting to me as the purple. Another fifty percent off purchase that had to stay in my basket.
I’m really pleased and will be using them straight away. Look out for reviews over the next couple of months!
