I would never call myself a candle connoisseur but I do like my candles and am burning at least one somewhere in my home on a weekly basis. Mainly I buy candles for the fragrance, but sometimes, a candle is all about the packaging.
Summer Meadow from Leafy and Lovely is all about the packaging. From the box you get a hint of the prettiness that you will find inside. the bottom of the box has a vibrant floral print which is repeated above the logo on the top of the box.
When you open the box, the glass holder is just wow. The floral print is transferred onto the surface of the glass holder but it it is sooo pretty. if you turn the glass holder upside down and give a firm pat to the bottom of the glass the candle comes right out so if like me you like to make eye pencils and make up brushes in your candle holders, you can do so before you burn the candle (just put some hot water into the jar to remove the metal plate from the bottom)
If you keep the candle in the holder then you will see the beauty of the holder as the candle burn too. It is not an even burn so make sure that keep it in a room that is not draughty. Sadly the throw of fragrance of this candle is not the best. You have to get your nose right up to the wax to get a hint of the summer meadow fragrance but for me the candle is so pretty that I don’t mind.
