Content Wellbeing: Tata Harper Facial

Content Wellbeing

A few weeks ago lovely Lyndah from Wonderlusting organised a green beauty event at London green beauty mecca Content.  We had a chance to find out about Michelle founder of Boucleme hair range for curly hair and Lynda gave recommendations for skincare and make up.  At the event we were encouraged to tweet and ‘gram the event and the person who was most active on social media would win a facial.

Happily the winner was me.  Hurrah!  Excited?  Moi?  Abso-flipping-lutely. The day of my facial arrived and I then found out that I was having a Tata Harper facial. What?????  Tata Harper doyen all all things green and efficacious.  Good product and great packaging I was at this point over- excited… which is not the best state to be in before you have a facial!  Andrea my therapist was thorough in the consultation and really based the facial on why my skin needed as opposed to what I told her I wanted.   Apart from the last remnants of a few hormonal spots my skin is in a pretty good state so I just let her loose on my face… and neck and shoulders… and arms.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

So I was cleansed with the Regenerating Cleanser which surprisingly has micro granules in it.  A generous spritz of the Hydrating Toning Essence and then onto the star of the facial.  The Resurfacing Mask filled with beta hydroxy acids is the Tata Harper version of peel – but way more gentle.  There was no tingle on the skin and interestingly no sensitivity especially after a manual exfoliator was used on my skin shortly beforehand.

Tata Harper Serums

Another spritz of and onto the serums.  Both were used on my face, but my skin seem to absorb the Rejuvenating Serum quicker.  After the masks, the serum was applied, and it was patted rather than rubbed into the skin and it finished with the eye cream and Repairative Moisturiser and then it was time for me to come back to reality.

Post facial my skin was glowing and plump and my breakout was slightly reduced.  Andrea advised that I look at the serums and the masks in the range to slot into my existing skincare routine.  She is a great therapist – I would recommend going to see her.  Having a facial with a brand is a great way to see how your skin reacts to a range and Tata Harper is definitely a good range for me.

Huge thanks to Content Beauty for the facial – I will definitely be back
