I finally picked up the Lavender Lust Eye Colour Quad from Tom Ford. As a purple aficionado, you would have through that it would have been the first palette that I would pick up. The make up junkie that I am, knows that not all purple palettes are made equally. I did not want to be disappointed so I started with the Sahara Haze palette which I do not regret at all.
I have waxed lyrical here on my blog, on my Youtube channel and on Instagram about the Sahara Haze eye shadow quad. If you want to know value per gram and all about the packaging etc, check out my original review here.

Lavender Lust but it is not the most purple, purple palette that I own. This is a very wearable palette and whilst I wish it had more purple tones, I do find that I reach for it alot. The pink and grey-mauve complementary shades are very pretty in their own right. They also blend perfectly with the deep purple shade. the silver pink glitter shade creates an amazing cut crease and is more pigmented than you would anticipate. I am very thankful that there isn’t an outlier brown or taupe shade in the quad.
Top left – the pink glitter shade which on my skin as a silver tone
Top right – a gorgeous mauve with a grey undertone
Bottom right – looks cream but is a vibrant pink and
Bottom right is a deep purple shade.
For purple fans like me, this is a no brainer. If you think that purple eyeshadow is not for you, think again. The shades are very flattering, not only for green and brown eyed gyals. I have also seen this palette used on blue eyes and it is super pretty. Definitely one to swatch next time you are at your Tom Ford counter.
