Talon Tales: Essie – Sew Psyched

Essie Sew Psyched

I was apprehensive about Sew Psyched from Essie.  I have had mixed luck with Essie polishes. the good ones are really good but the bad are such a disappointment. I am happy to report that Sew Psyched is a really good one.

Essie Sew Psyched

Sew Psyched is described as as a soft sage green.  On me this is army green.  If you like camoflauge tones, you will love this shade.  I was not completely convinced that this colour would work on me but it is a beaut and quite different from other greens in my collection.

I am also loving the fat brush – it makes application so much easier.  The colour is opaque in one coat but I applied two for good measure.  I wore it for the week without Seche Vite and it was four days before the shade started to shrink at the tips of my nails.

It is a beautiful cream colour and applies very very evenly. Great on long and short nails. A complete thumbs up from me.

Essie polishes are available from Debenhams and other authorised stockists.  They retail for eight pounds.
