Caudalie: Vinosource #lifeisbetterinpink

Caudalie Vinosource range

Caudalie is one of my favourite French brands. Beautiful looking products with delicious textures and clinically proven result they are a range they I use and gift very regularly. Despite being in my forties I am all about hydration in skincare. I have combination skin but am dehydrated and when my skin is out of sorts it becomes dry so I prefer a hydrating moisturiser over an anti ageing one any day of the week.

Caudalie Vinosource Range

Caudalie’s latest launch is part of their Vinosource range. All the products contain organic grapewater which have a range of micro nutrients (polyphenols and polysaccharides) and anti oxidants which hydrate the skin. Caudalie understand that regardless of your skin type, hydration is a crucial element of your skincare regime so they have created a moisturiser wardrobe which consists of four different textures that you can dip into as your skin requires. This is right up my street and I have been playing with them all for a few weeks. All of the moisturisers share  a slight powdery texture on the skin which means that despite being hydrated you are not greasy.

Moisturising Sorbet (Oily Skin) the lightest texture, the formula breaks into a water on the skin. Perfect for the recent spate of warm weather if you are on the olier side, also a good primer for make up. I have used this as a primer over my usual moisturiser a couple of times as the powdered texture makes it a great base for makeup. As well as the grapewater there is also cucumber water and and mandarin blossom for a light refreshing fragrance.

Moisturising Mattifying Fluid (Combination Skin). This is the product that was designed for my skin type so it is the product that I have tested the most. have been testing this product over a facial oil. Yes really. And I stayed matte throughout the day.  Suffice to say I was impressed.

Moisture Recovery Cream (Dry Skin) I use this one when I am not leaving the house or working at home. Despite my combination skin I like a rich texture which is due to the addition of borage oil.  My skin was left hydrated but not greasy.

Caudalie Vinosource Recovery Cream

Intense Moisture Rich Cream (Very Dry Skin)  I like to use this as a night cream or after doing a face mask. It has the thickest texture but is not greasy or oily. Shea butter and chestnut extract provide both nourishment and hydration to the skin.  It absorbs into the skin beautifully and can be used as a day or night cream.

Grapewater – this is not a new product but it has been released in limited edition packaging.  A thermal spring water with a difference, it is one hundred percent organic grape water
