Amidst a sea of blue, yellow and brown packaging Colonia Club from Acqua di Parma really stands out. The british racing green colourway gives a hint of some of the notes that included in this interpretation of a classic Italian cologne.
The Vibe
If Jason Bourne wore scent I reckon it woul be Colonia Club from Acqua di Parma. In my imagination however, Bourne does not wear scent. So continuing on the fantasy spy theme…Colonia Club smells like Idris Elba as Bond. Not as Luther even though I prefer Luther to Bond. It smells like a man not a boy who knows who is is and what he can do. For me the vibe is very definitely masculine even though I have spent a couple of days wearing and enjoying this fragrance.

On the Skin
The opening is bright and light but not fizzy. It is definitely a cologne that you would traditioanlly identify as a man’s fragrance. Pretty quickly the herbal element takes your attention. Lavender and citrus is a classic men’s cologne combo. The addition of the mint is genius. You dont smell like a mojito but it gives the scent a freshness which makes it perfect in warmer weather. Through the dry down, the aromatic herbs make space for the ambergis and musk.
Full Bottle Worthy
YAAASSS… but not for me. I will probably pick this one up for the Mr. I really enjoy this on my but on him. He smells divine in it. I love aromatic scents on him and Colonia Club is a great one. If he smelt like this all the time, I would not complain AT ALL.
