My eyeshadow quad for 2014 is the Sam Fine Tunisian Nights Palette. The Sam Fine Collaboration with Fashion Fair caused a stir in beauty circles and with good reason. Fashion Fair is one of the oldest black beauty ranges and Sam Fine is the celebrity make up artist for black celebrities. He understands skin like few others and can highlight and contour a face within an inch of it self.
The Tunisian nights quad has everying that a good eyeshadow palette should have:-
- A matte black shadow. It is the thing that I look for first in a palette because it increases the number of ways that I can use the palette. Not only for eyeshadow but also for brows and eyeliner.
- The icy colour is interesting as it is not a block colour on the skin, it registers as glittery but like the other colours is a very smooth texture. I have been wearing this colour over a yellow cream shadow and it looks amazing.
- The blue is mid toned with a hint of shimmer and
- The pinky red colour that I have been describing as mulberry is very pretty on brown eyes.
I am loving this palette and if you follow me on Instagram you are going to be seeing a lot of it.
