Hmmmm. This is the problem with beauty boxes. Last Month I received my first Wantable box and I thought that it was brilliant. Great products and great value. This month however I am very disappointed.
I got four full sized products this month instead of five. So, I know that Wantable say four to five full sized products before you subscribe, but, well, you know – I want five full sized products.
The colour of the nail varnish is well – not a colour that I would choose. Of all the colours available in the Spellbound range, (and there are some gorgeous ones) I get the peachy toned colour. Just not me.
Golden Rose Mascara – having recently returned from Turkey where this brand is omnipresent, I am interested to see the results of this drugstore mascara with fibre. However this is my second mascara in a row. I love mascara but I cant get through so many. One in every other box would be good.
Pla Beauty eyeshadow in Serenity. Yet another product that I like, in a colour that I would never, ever choose for myself. I’ve swatched it and it is chalky on me.
Mistura Retractable Brush. Sigh. I don’t do retractable brushes. I have a fab Trish McEvoy make up planner that keeps my brushes in mint condition. In addition, this is not the softest synthetic brush in my collection. It is just a no from me.
The sachet is a different iteration of the product that I had in my first box. The Sorme Under Foundation Make Up Enhancer, this time in the anti ageing rather then the oil free version.
The total value of the products in this box is sixty four dollars. As a UK subscriber, I pay over fifty dollars for the box so that is not outstanding value. So, only four products, two colours that I did not need to swatch to know that they would not be great for me and a repeat of the sample two boxes in a row. Very disappointing.
