I Managed to Snag a Caroline Hirons Summer Kit

Caroline Hirons and her love of skincare, camo and the colour yellow needs no introduction. The skincare guru and all around good egg has been creating seasonal skincare kits for some time.  Normally they sell out in a heartbeat, but this time round I managed to get my hands on one – an early birthday gift to myself.

The Kit

Caroline produced two kits.  Both were suitable for all skintones and all skintypes. I decided to pick up Kit One as it had a wider range of goodies that I was keen to try.  My skin has been more up and down during lockdown

REN: Perfect Canvas Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser.  £25

The benefits of a cleansing oil in the convenience of a tube.  I’m looking forward  to this one.

Emma Hardie: Plump and Glow Hydrating Mist.  £42

I’ve used this product before (check out my review here) and liked it so I’m happy to have it back in my skincare rotation.

Hylamide: SubQ Skin £18

Not tried this before but I am always in the market for a hydrating multi active serum.

Chantecaille : Jasmine and Lily Healing Mask £75

I have worked my way through a sample of this recently and loved it. I cannot wait to crack this one open.

Zelens: PHA + Bio Peel Resurfacing Facial Pads £65

Caroline was the person that first introduced me to acids in my skincare routine so I trust that these pads will be fab.

Mother Dirt: Moisturizer for the Face £34.99

The product I am most excited about, my skin has been a little topsy turvey during lockdown so a biome reinforcing product will be ideal.

The Skin Nerd: Cleanse Off Mitt £4.99

It is going to take alot for me to give up my flannels.  Lets see if the Cleanser Mitt can convert me.

Sunday Riley: Luna Sleeping Night Oil £45

A cult product that I have never tried.

Dermalogica: Biolumin C Eye Serum £63

I’ve recently acquired some dark circles, I know it is more lifestyle than an age thing so lets see what this eye serum can do.

Medik8: C Tetra Intense £50.00

I have recently become a fan of Vitamin C so I am excited to see how this works on my skin.

Charlotte Tilbury: Magic Cream Light (Sample)

I’ve had samples of the Original Magic Cream. For me it was ‘meh’, not terrible not great and definitely sont something that I would purchase a full size of, but it is always interesting to sample new products.

Final Thoughts

I am really pleased with the selection of products that I have. At more than 50% off the recommended retail price, the value is fantastic. It is no problem for me that I have already used the Emma Hardie Facial Mist. Working from home means I am glad to have it at the side of my computer Look out for full reviews of the individual products over the coming months.
