This month, I invested in Corduroy.
I am still obsessed with matt shadows and a good brown is an essential for any make up kit.
I have MAC’s Groundwork Paint Pot and it is a great base but the colour is slightly lighter then my lid. When worn on it’s own it gives a slightly mannequin look rather then a natural face. That is where Corduroy comes in.
It is slightly darker and redder then my lid colour, it has the benefit of providing definition to the eye area with out any effort. Great for wearing under eyeliner flicks, great as a transition colour and generally a staple that neutralises any unevenness on the lid. For me it is a more natural colour then any of the matt brown lid shades in Urban Decay’s Naked Palette.
