I bought myself a new lipstick for National Lipstick Day. Yes, really.
I have had it in my possession for a couple of weeks but I knew that today would be the first day that I wore it.
My love of purple lipstick is not going to vanish any time soon so why fight it? As I get older I indulge all of my quirks with increasing fervour.
After many many years of buying cosmetics, I know that there is nothing like a slick of your favourite colour across your lips to lift your spirits/ change your mood / make you feel strong or confident or empowered or amazing.
