Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of spending my afternoon doing some filming with QVC UK. I have been watching the channel for about fifteen years. QVC is responsible (in part) for my beauty addition so it was great to be in the building.

Lovely Marverine Cole, one of QVC’s presenters was filming a feature on make up for Women of Colour. QVC sell many cosmetics line but not all of them have products that cater to deeper skin tones. Whether it is the lack of a rich toned foundations, or colour cosmetics that just are not pigmented enough it can be difficult to work out which productss from which brandss work best, especially as you are buying off the telly.

On hand to provide expert advice was the very lovely and very talented celebrity MUA Mikey Phillips who has worked with a plethrora of British brown beauties including Rochelle Humes and Alison Hammond.

There were also three beautiful (and tall) models to demonstrate the looks and products on.

It was great to have Sharon who normally models the fashion ranges on the beauty channel – she was the perfect candidate for the Joan Collins red lip

So that is just a taste of my afternoon at the ‘Q’. You will have to tune in to the QVC Beauty Channel to more of what we got up to – I’ll update this post once the date is confirmed. If you want to see more pictures – head to my Pinterest page.
