Fragonard as a range was brought to my attention at the Marks and Spencers Beauty press day that I attended earlier this month. Fragonard are a French perfume house with over eighty years of perfumery heritage
*This limited edition orange and cinnamon candle says Christmas from start to finish. The box is decorated on each and every face with a wintery scene of the Eiffel Tower, snow covered spruce trees and a church, all with a healthy sprinkling of silver glitter. Put your nose to the box and you get an immediate scent of fresh orange blended with cinnamon that is not overwhelming or synthetic.
When you take the candle out of the box, you are faced with a beautiful, pure white, porcelain candle holder with Fragonard embossed into the porcelain. The creamy wax has a few of the silver glitter particles from the box which glisten as the wax melts and the candle light flickers.
When the candle is lit the cinnamon comes through but it never overpowers the orange, which retains it’s freshness. I love this scent as it is warm and inviting, but it is not heavy or cloying. It is a lovely Christmas scent, but I will definitely be burning this candle in January because it is just lovely.
Marks and Spencers have over forty Fragonard products in their beauty department. There are candles, soaps, and of course perfume so if you are looking to fragrance yourself or your home, Fragonard is definitely worth a look.
