A further extension to the NUXE Prodigieux range is the shower oil. The Prodigieuse Dry Oil is a hero product from the range for the fragrance as much as for the shimmer it imparts on the skin.
The fragrance became a product in it’s own right and now the shower oil has joined the range. this paraben free formula smells exactly like the oil. Unlike the L’Occitane Shower Oil, this product has a gel texture and in my opinion is a shower gel not a shower oil. There is almond oil in the product but not that much (there is more fragrance that oil). It also have gold microshimmer in it with is purely decorative. The shimmer does not stay on the skin after the product is rinsed off.
Almost 92 percent of the ingredients are of natural origin and whilst the Prodigieux Shower Oil does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate is does have sodium lauroyl sarcosinate. A surfactant of plant origin. I still found that my skin was dry at the end of my shower but not as much as with a product that contains SLS. It fragrances the bathroom beautifully and the skin. It you are fan of the oil – it will be a great addition to the Prodigieux wardrobe but it is definitely a shower gel rather than a shower oil.
