Talon Tales: Kure Bazaar Paris (Caicos)

PatentPurpleLife Kure Bazaar Caicos

A new brand for me is Kure Bazaar Paris.  I picked this last weekend at Content and I have been wearing it ever since.  This brand is a free from range phthalates, formaldehyde, toluene and synthetic camphor.

This colour Caicos (an island in the Caribbean) is a minty green with depth.  From a shelf filled with pretty colours this one stood out.   The formula is slightly streaky on the first coat but smooth on the second and if you go onto a third even better.  This nail varnish takes a bit longer then other formulas to dry .  The strangest thing about this varnish is the smell.  When you put your nose to the bottle it has the slight pear drops smell that many nail varnishes are defined by.  But once it is applied to the nails as it starts to dry the smell is slightly more organic and it lasts for about  twenty four hours.

With top coat I get about five days wear before any chips appear and because the formula  is quite thick, it is possible to touch up and reapply topcoat.   The Kure range has some really lovely colours, it is definitely worth a browse.
