There is nothing like a lip gloss to brighten the face. As a lipstick devotee, even I recognise the need for a gloss or three in my make up bag.
Canary Diamond from Fashion Fair is part of the collaboration that Sam Fine did with the brand last year. As February on the blog is all about lips, I had to include a review of this product.
It is a clear gloss with yellow gold particles suspended through it. When you apply the gloss to your lips you don’t feel the particles but if you purse you lips together you. Head over to my Instagram to have a look at swatches – on the lips the gold particles catch the light making this a great every day option but also means that you can vamp up an opaque lip colour.
A lip brush is not my favourite gloss applicator but the bristles on this brush are quite short and the gloss is applied evenly. I apply the gloss to a palette or the back of my hand, and apply the gloss to my lips with my finger or a separate brush to keep from transferring my lipstick to the tube. If you want your lips to shine bright like a diamond, this is a good option.
