My pick of the range is this glorious deep raspberry colour – it looks like it has a hint of pink in the tube but on my pigmented lips translates to a soft red because of the matte texture. I am more of a lipstick girl then a lip gloss girl but this matte texture is interesting. On the lips the texture is tthick and velvety and whilst it is definitely matte, it is not drying on the skin. The formula is beautifully opaque and can be blended out to create a stain or built up ( as I like to do) for maximum coverage.
This is a lip gloss rather then a lip stain so it is not especially long lasting and whilst the colour is very pigmented, it did not stain my lips. As with other (shiny) lip glosses, it comes off with food (fish and chips in this case).
It is better then a shiny lipgloss but not a replacement or a lip stain (HourGlass is still my favourite) or a lovely lipstick.
