MUFE: Pro Bronze Fusion and Kabuki Brush

MUFE Pro Bronze Fusion in shade 20M

The wait is over.  Make Up For Ever is now available in Debenhams and the bloggersphere has understandably gone crazy for brand that is loved by make up artists and beauty aficionados alike.

MUFE Pro Bronze Fusion in shade 20M

I have been playing with the Pro Bronze Fusion in shade Sand (20M).  This review is not for anyone with a deep or dark skintone.  This bronzer sits in the middle of the six shades currently available.  None of them work for me but I have used a friend with a fair skin tone who gladly played guinea pig for me with this product.

The compact contains eleven grams of products which is pretty hefty.  The metallic chocolate-brown lid opens up to show a beautifully embossed pressed powder that depending on whether you have picked up an ‘M’ or an ‘i’ shade is either matte or iridescent.

MUFE claim that there is no powdery finish with this product and I have to agree.   If you generally find that bronzers are too ‘fanta’ orange for you, this product is not like that. It gives a beautiful warm shade that can be used at a true bronzer or a subtle contour.  It is also claimed that this product is waterproof and again I would have to agree – having squirted my
pal with Evian!  The colour is very sheer and very buildable but you need the correct brush for the job. The powder is almost impossible to pick up with a fluffy powder / blusher type brush.  You definitely need a kabuki brush (which is probably why MUFE released a kabuki at the same time as this product).

MUFE Kabuki Pro Bronze Fusion

Don’t let the small size fool you.  The densely packed synthetic fibres pick up product and apply it to the skin smoothly. The bristles are really soft so it is a joy to apply.  For  pale skinned beauties this is a gem, especially if you dont want a glittery finish.  As for me – I’ll be trying out highlighters from the range.

MUFE Pro Bronze Fusion and Kabuki brush are both available from Debenhams stores and retail for £28.00 and £24.00 respectively.
