#luckybag2017

It’s Beautylish #luckybag2017 time YAAAASSSSSSSS!!  This is my second year doing the bag and I am feeling pretty lucky.  For the full low down on what the Beautylish Lucky Bag  is look at my #luckybag2016 post. If you just want to know what I got this year, keep reading.

RCMA No Color Powder $12 (£10.50 on Beauty Bay)

#luckybag2017 RCMA No Color Powder

This powder was on my beauty wish list and is now in my hands.   I won’t be baking with this powder, it will be strictly for setting my makeup …  I just need to find a small jar to decant it into.

Clean Apothecary Brush Shampoo $15 (exclusively at Beautylish)

#luckybag2017 Clean Apothecary Brush Cleaner

It is pretty savvy of Beautylish to include a brush cleaner when there is a brush in the bag.  This solid brush cleaner is made from coconut oil and argan oil which differs from the goats milk version that I have used – check out my review here.

It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eye Pencil $24 (£22 for 2 on QVCUK)

#luckybag2017 It Cosmetics Brow Power

My brows are not taupe but It Cosmetics claim that if I just apply more pressure, their universal shade it will match my very dark brows.   This product is globally their best selling product so lets see if it works.

Wayne Goss 06 Brush $25 (exclusively at Beautylish)

#luckybag2017 Wayne Goss Brush

As an eye shadow fanatic this brush is going to come in very handy.  The paddle shape means it will be good for applying colour.  It also has a tapered end which  (hopefully) means it will blend like a dream.

BECCA Afterglow Palette $39.50

#luckybag2017 Becca Afterglow Palette

This palette was launched in 2015 and interestingly I could not find a UK stockist.  Space NK, Cult Beauty don’t have it.  I’m not sure if it was a US exclusive. The Afterglow Palette looks like an eye shadow palette but is actually a blush and highlighter palette.  There are three Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfectors in Moonstone, Rose Gold and Topaz and two blushers in Wild Honey and Flower Child.  I’m excited to play with this one.

Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 5 $48 (£35 on Beauty Bay)

#luckybag2017 Natasha Denona Palette

I love Natasha Denona Eyeshadows.  They featured in my best of 2016 so it was pleased to receive that #02 palette in the #luckybag2017.  It has a beautiful rose gold colour colourway with her signature metallic, shimmer and satin textures.   These shades are also complimentary with purple eyeshadows so get ready for lots of matte purple crease with rose gold shimmer eye looks on Instagram.

The total value of my #luckybag2017 is $163.50 which is slightly less than last year, but I am happier with my 2017 bag.  I will definitely do it again next year.

If you bought a lucky bag this year, let me know what you got in the comments.
