#ColourMeMarch Cheltenham Festival Ladies Day

Colour Me March

I do not consider myself to be a fashion blogger – but I enjoy fashion an I am never one to turn down a challenge. I normally wear block colours (generally black and purple)  so the ‘challenge’ of creating a colourful outfit that I would wear to Cheltenham Festival Ladies day is an interesting one.

Colour Me March

The cut of this dress is what drew me first.  Although the sleeves are short, they are dolman to facilitate bingo wings and the blouson top facilitates an ample bosom.   The fitted skirt creates an hourglass shape and heels lengthen short legs.  I did toy with the idea of a fascinator or a hat, but feel that a blue headwrap will complement the outfit perfectly. I am picking up the blue again with my  Seche Vite nail colour in Hypnotic and eyeshadow via the Smashbox Double Exposure palette and finish off the look with a sweep of Sephora Dark Berry Lip stain.  Eh voila a colourful outfit for #ColourMeMarch
