What do you get when Christian Dior mix fuchsia pink a hint of blue and the lightest sprinkling of shimmer?
The packaging is beautiful…
… but let’s go back to the colour. I dont know who named this colour, but mauve it aint!. In my opinion it is not mysterious either, it is bold and adventurous but I say again, it is definitely not mauve. This is vibrant fuchsia pink with the lightest touch of shimmer. MAC’s magenta lip pencil is a perfect match and helps the longevity but this lipstick is with the benefit of hyaluronic acid long wearing and an amazing beautiful colour. Leave you lip print with pride on your mug of tea and smile widely as the blue undertones help to give the appearance of whiter teeth.
This is a great confidence giving colour – and it is a very happy colour. If you are planning to do a serious amount of smooching on Valentine’s Day, I would not recommend wearing this colour – why mess up your fabulous statement lip?
Swatch taken with flash on a dark winter evening!
If you are looking for an energising joyful high quality bright pink but not neon pink which has a moisturising formula this is a great option.
